CAMPUS LIFE & PROGRAMMES

On campus, students enjoy unparalleled resources that enrich their learning experiences, expand their horizons, and expose them to infinite possibilities, preparing them to thrive in a fast evolving and dynamic world. Over the last year, from the first exciting GBA Cup to the Premier International Young Artists Music Festival Concert, we’ve created new opportunities for student exchanges in the Greater Bay Area.

Our Master Series Summer Camps also unlocked the full potential of participants, immersing them in Chinese culture, STEAM, Performing Arts, and much more!

PERFORMING
ARTS CENTRE

Both the performing and visual arts are held in great esteem at the Hub. With three remarkable performing arts spaces, including a musical hall and a 280-seated end-stage theatre, we are steadfast in our commitment to supporting world-class artistic expressions in music, dance, and drama. Our purpose-built art studios further empower us to deliver captivating learning experiences.

Through collaborations with industry practitioners and professional artists, we seamlessly blend various artistic disciplines such as painting, drawing, printmaking, sculpture, ceramics, photography, video, filmmaking, design, crafts, and architecture. This fusion allows us to bridge the gap between artistic expression and real world applications in fashion, product design, and architecture, to name just a few fields.

Sports play a vital role in cultivating a positive mindset of sportsmanship, resilience, cultural exchange, and lasting friendships, and, as such, the Hub is home to state-of-the-art facilities, including three international competition standard basketball courts, an Olympic indoor rock climbing wall, 400m running track and football pitch, five tennis courts, five indoor squash courts, 25m indoor swimming pool, fitness centre and yoga facilities.

To foster the development of cross-border talent and cultural exchanges, enabling students in the GBA to connect through the universal language of sport in the Education Hub, the first Greater Bay Area Cup Youth Sports Tournament (GBA Cup) was held at the Hub on 25-26 November 2023, hosted by Benenden Bilingual School Guangzhou (BBSG). This inaugural event drew more than 400 athletes from over 30 schools from Hong Kong, Guangzhou, Dongguan, Shenzhen, and Zhuhai, competing in basketball and football games, as well as tennis and golf matches.

CCHI brings together researchers, teachers and industry practitioners to cultivate a deep appreciation for Chinese culture. These vital collaborations create programmes that are captivating, experiential, and rooted in real-world relevance.
Our main approach involves blending academic studies of Chinese history, immersive learning experiences like field trips and workshops, and visits by industry practitioners who possess expertise in integrating Chinese culture into daily life.
By intertwining these elements, the Centre is intent on igniting learners' passion for the profound depth and enduring relevance of Chinese culture and heritage.
Our Lingnan cultural exchange programmes allow K-12 students to broaden their horizons and build cultural knowledge through first-hand experiences in the Lingnan regions. Educators also enjoy invaluable teaching exchange trips to observe different pedagogies and best practices at partner institutions, bringing back fresh ideas and multicultural competencies to benefit Hub classrooms.
